Description

Custom made Cognac colored Leather Equine Horse Hood with Eye Cups for protection from excessive dust and bugs. It can be used as a recovery mask after eye surgery or healing from infections.
Aside from its obvious utility, it is a beautiful handmade piece of leather workmanship making it popular in the
Steam Punk genre.

Condition: As a used hood, it shows its wear, especially on the inside where a liquid must have dripped. The hardware (grommets and buckle) are rusted but can be cleaned. The leather cinches are very worn and cracked, but intact.

Wide Leather cinch for top of horse's head: 17' long
Strap with Lamb's wool protection for under horse's chin: 15"
Leather strap to attach under horse's chin to the lamb's wool cinch: 13"
Straps for around the top of the horse's head: 45" long
