Vintage Carstairs 12 inch wooden pub tray with Carstairs White Seal advertisement from early 1950s , or before, for this bourbon whisky. Original owner, smoke free home storage. Nice vintage aging to the wood showing normal scratches and wear marks from a rich history of use! Appears to be a golden hardwood with a “shellac” fnish of some sort.
Slight discoloration in the wood shown in close-up, circled.
Golden pine overall look with a white seal balancing a bright red ball. No date shown but carved in bottom is “Carstairs Bros. Dist. Co. Inc. N.Y.C.”
Very nice very vintage condition. Packed safely for mailing.
