    Description

    There are two parts to this bridle shown in the first and second picture.
    Pretty sure this is Military related as it was found with a large group of military items.  Guessing the
    age by condition I would estimate this to be WW1.  It has been identified by an seller of unique tack from around the world--thanks so much---here is his quote to me:
    "
    Hello, I own a Tack store and sell unique tack from Around the world, I just wanted to let you know what you actually have is a Hungarian harness headstall, the Braided pieces are called 'Sallangs'. sadly, you are missing one..."
    Appears to be more ornamental than functional.  I can guess it was likely used for parades and similar.
    It is heavy black leather.
