DESCRIPTION:
A beautiful leather Key Fob handmade in our studio, with natural vegetable tanned leather in an Havana dark brown color, which results in a superior quality leather that wears very durably. It has a unique solid brass custom quadruple-engraved name plate. (A solid nickel silver plate is available for extra).
A perfect way to have your horse with you, even if you're not in the saddle, or an ideal gift for the horse enthusiast! Also appropriate as an automotive key chain with your choice of engraved message.
These are hand cut and made to order, especially for you, not mass produced. The approximate dimensions are 3 3/4" x 7/8" x 9/64" (8-9 oz leather), with a 2 1/2" x 1/2" (.032 thickness) name plate attached with brass rivets (or silver), and a matching key ring 1" inside diameter.
Plates are finished with a baked-on synthetic resin, that will not tarnish or rust. They are sturdy, and create an elegant finish for your key chain.
We quadruple rotary diamond burnish the name into the brass or silver, to create a very durable engraving, much more so than just diamond etching or laser engraving that has a tendency to rub off. The exposed raw brass is then acid oxidized to produce the darkened text.
