Here is our absolute favorite mouth from Myler! This is a 5" Myler Flat Shank Forward Tilt Low Port curb (MB36) and is in hardly used condition. This is a level 1 bit, as the mouth is very mild, but does have leverage from the shanks. In great used condition. Mouth is sweet iron, which has started to rust, offering a pleasant taste for your horse. Per Myler:
Stainless Steel 7" Flat Shank with Sweet Iron Forward Tilt Ported Barrel (MB 36, Level 2-3) Copper Inlay. This mouthpiece is made of polished Sweet Iron which naturally oxidizes or rusts. Harmless to horses, it has a sweet taste and promotes salivation. This bit rotates onto the tongue, applying tongue pressure, but because the mouthpiece is curved, it wraps around the bars and lips instead of pinching. The barrel in the center applies approximately the same pressure on the tongue as a traditional three-piece mouthpiece, however, the barrel distributes the pressure more kindly and creates Independent Side Movement™. Sweet iron mouthpiece oxidizes and encourages salivation
